The printed word will never lose its relevance and excitement, whatever the allurement that the television and computer screen may hold for humanity. Establishment of libraries in schools should not be perceived merely as a statutory requirement. We should wholeheartedly strive to rise above such a restricted view so that the student community is really and truly introduced into the enchanting world of books, information and knowledge.
